RalliesThe dates and route for the 2012 Kyle Petty Charity Ride have been announced. Kyle Petty's annual motorcycle ride will start on Saturday April 28th in Napa California and end on Friday May 4th in at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth Texas.
The annual motorcycle charity ride was born from the passing of Adam Petty who was killed on track during a NASCAR event in 2000. Kyle and his wife Pattie Petty created this event to honor their son and to raise awareness and funds for Victory Junction Camp, a camp for terminally ill children and their families that was fashioned after Paul Newman's Hole In The Wall camps. Since the first ride in 1995, over 10 million miles have been ridden, over $14 million dollars raised with over 7,000 riders have participated.
