Women’s Motorcycle Festival in Canada

Last August, the American Motorcyclist Association hosted the fifth International Women and Motorcycling conference in Keystone, Colorado. This event attracted visitors from all over the world, including a large number of Canadians. In August, 2010, the Motorcyclists Confederation of Canada will take on the hosting duties, and bring the International Women Riders Congress and Festival (IWFC) to the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ontario. The event will be held on August 11 to August 15.

WMX Class Numbers Rule Changed for 2010

Just under two months removed from the conclusion of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, MX Sports Pro Racing has already turned its attention towards 2010, making a number of improvements in the program. One of the first things to get a make-over is how WMX racers earn and score a prestigious national number. The new WMX national number selection process will assign national numbers based on final point standings from the previous season, rather than allowing riders to randomly choose their numbers, which was the case in 2009 and prior. >>Read More
