Electric motorcycle tour demonstrates viability of technologyPress Release
Their point was to demonstrate that electric motorcycles could be one solution to the country's energy needs. Their route for doing so? The 2008 trip of auto-industry chiefs who took private jets to Washington, D.C., to ask for billions in government aid. The more than 700-mile ride, conducted by the company's chief engineer and an advertising executive, garnered significant media coverage for the company known as Brammo, which sells its Enertia model for just under $12,000. The company's web site can be found here: www.brammo.com
