The Italian Grand Prix at the Mugello Circuit has just been given the 2011 IRTA "Best Grand Prix" award. It is the fifth time Mugello has been given the award since it started hosting MotoGP races in 1976.
Trey Canard just can't catch a break. Canard missed the first round of the 2012 Supercross season due to an injury and it looks like he could be missing a few more races. During last night's event at Dodger Stadium, Ryan Morias accidentally landed on top of Canard, leaving the Honda rider with a back injury.

Ducati just finished a three day test at Jerez on the new GP12. The Italian manufacturer didn't allow any cameras on the track and they didn't say much about how testing went. Carlos Checa, who rode the GP12 this week, was also tight lipped about the new Ducati details.
