I had the pleasure of taking in the sights at the Museum of Design (MODA) in Hotlanta, better known as Atlanta, for all those who aren’t a cool as me. MODA focuses on how design affects our daily lives, not staring at a painting dot with a banana in the middle of it. “Hi my name is Rodney, and my painting is called, Misery of the Fifth Brigade”. Yawn. Don’t get me wrong, I love art, but how does art relate to my everyday existence?
Well readers, Executive Director of MODA, Brenda Galina heard my cries from 800 miles away and decided what better way to show non-artsy people how design relates to them other than through Italian, 2-wheeled, goes fast machines.
Ma'am, I like the way you think. Let’s take a look at some of today’s most beautifully inspired Italian motorcycles. True form and function… plus when I stood around and stared at this art, I wasn’t trying to think of something deep and articulate to say to the person next to me, all the while thinking, “this looks like a Spongebob painting.” Enjoy.
