There’s no better way to spend a weekend than to catch some high-flying freestyle motocross action as the Gravity Slashers Freestyle Motocross tour comes to the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Friday, March 5 and Saturday, March 6 for two intense nights of competition.
The event is the penultimate stop of the 2010 Gravity Slashers tour that will visit 16 arenas in 14 states for 26 nights of competition.
Riders will converge at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza to battle head-to-head for the top spot on the podium. The state-of-the-art facility will be transformed into a freestyle motocross playground complete with two different jumps, each measuring more than 65 feet in distance! The riders have only 45 feet to build up enough speed before hitting the ramp and propelling themselves close to 50 feet up in the air. And if that isn’t enough of a challenge, the riders will be judged on the execution of acrobatic tricks such as backflips, Hart Attacks, Cliffhangers, Tsunamis and Sterilzers, just to name a few.
J.J. Romans (Flagstaff, Ariz.) has separated himself from the rest of the field in the wins category but other world-class riders trying to knock him out of the “Hot Seat” include, Adam Cousino (Bristol, Vt.), Ben Veyna (Las Vegas, Nev.), Jason Rowe (Chicago, Ill.), John Distler (Gilbert, Ariz.), Justin Stoltzfus (Honey Brook, Pa.) Paul Smith (Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) and Vince Morgan (St. Johns, Ariz.)

Adult tickets start at just $15.00, and kids tickets start at only $5.00! Service charges, facility and handling fees may apply. All ticket prices are $2 more when purchased on the day of show.
