And the drug running begins. The fourth episode of the fourth season of 'Sons of Anarchy' opened up with the gang preparing for a little field trip down south. Yep, SAMCRO is going to be running drugs for the Gallindo cartel. Everything is going fine (relatively) until the gang realizes that SAMTAZ is actually selling crank.
And here comes the explosion.
Knowing that there is a difference between selling and carrying, Clay demands that the Tuscon Sons shut down their operation. And what, lose all that money? SAMCRO needs SAMTAZ to work with the cartel, so it looks like they'll be able to patch things up. But JAX notices that around the same time SAMTAZ started dealing, one member was killed and one was forced out of the gang. Something isn't right...
Meanwhile, Gemma is back in Charming Heights dealing with some plant issues while Piney is trying to get more information about John Teller, the co-founder of the Sons of Anarchy. Gemma threatens Piney, saying that if he digs any deeper he'll end up pushing daisies.
Back in Tuscon, SAMCRO is being tailed by police. After a chase through the desert, the gang decides to blow up a grease truck so that they can make a clean getaway. While police are dealing with the grease fire, the gang heads to a pet store to find out more about how SAMTAZ started dealing.
Turns out that SAMTAZ second in command was cooking meth without club approval long before the vote to deal.
SAMCRO reassess the situation and decides to confront the offenders. Here's where Clay gets to prove his dominance. Una Venta kept talking about Clay's grip and his problem with arthritis. But in this episode Clay shows that his grip is just fine when he threatens SAMTAZ no. 2.
SAMCRO is going to to continue to mule drugs, they just didn't like the dishonesty of SAMTAZ.
