We created this video review of the Triumph Tiger 800 and Triumph Tiger 800 XC (Cross County) because they are extremely versatile machines for the adventure space. We took these two Triumph Tiger motorcycles down to the Mexico border to put them through their paces and test them in the environment they were designed for.
Both of the Triumph Tigers handled very well, though the Triumph Tiger 800 XC revealed how the few changes gave it the edge when off road. The maneuverability of these Triumph motorcycles on the twisty canyon roads in the Southern part of North American is clearly visible in our video review.
Triumph Tiger 800 & Triumph Tiger 800 XC Video Review:
The standard Triumph Tiger 800 has much more of a street focus with a 19" case front wheel, narrower pulled back bars towards the rider and a lower seat height. The Triumph Tiger XC has a 21" spoked front wheel, higher seat, wider handle bars and longer travel suspension. There are absolutely loads of accessories for these two Triumph Tiger models, including an Arrow exhaust system, crash protection, GPS mounting and hard panniers.
