Triumph Triple Challenge

The Triumph Triple challenge is heading into its fifth season in an attempt to unearth the next British Superbike star. The Triumph Triple Challenge pits riders against eachother, in an effort to win a competive motorcycle and full backing from Triumph the following season.

The Triumph Triple Challenge awards a Superstock 600 for riders under the age of 23, and a competitive Supersport bike for riders under the age of 32. 2010 Champion Jimmy Dye will be racing in the Metzeler National Superstock 600 Championship, and John Simpson will be riding in the British Supersport Championship. These two slots will be vacated next year as Dye and Simpson move on with their careers, and the new Triumph Triple Champions will take their places.

The Triumph Triple Challenge is more about speed around the track, however. Riders are also be given lessons covering PR, race craft, suspension, fitness and diet, in order to ensure that each rider has a firm understanding of what it takes to become a successful professional racer.

The T3 riders will participate at 9 British Superbike events in 2011. Each rider will compete with a Triumph Daytona 675, which if they can keep it in one piece, will be theirs to keep at the end of the season.

So if you don't have a deal in place yet but want to race in the BSB, take a look at the Triumph Triple Challenge.
