Women's Empowerment Motorcycle Tour Hot

2011-Star-Stryker-action-blueYou and your motorcycle, nine days, four states, 2,000 miles and women only! Sounds too good to be true? Think again - Karen Thomson, owner of AVID MotoTours and Alisa Clickenger of MotoAdventureGal.com are organizing an amazing opportunity for women riders.

The tour, which is June 24-July 2, 2011, will hit all the highlights of the scenic Pacific Northwest. In these nine days lucky ladies will take in oceans, mountains, grassy plains, vibrant deserts and garner countless unforgettable experiences. What makes this trip even more fabulous is the subtle educational undertone aimed at empowering women to follow their two-wheeled dreams.

The tour is designed as a "rolling classroom" and by the end of the trip any rider should feel confident and inspired to embark on their own adventures. Riders of any skill level are invited to participate and a flexible riding schedule and route make it easy for you to shoot off-course for a personal adventure of your own during the tour. The trip focuses on delicious food (always a must) and taking care of both machine and body while on the road.

The road captains have some serious experience on two wheels. Both having toured on multiple continents and they could not be a more fit pair of leaders for an empowerment tour. As someone born in the Pacific Northwest I can attest to the brilliant, breathtaking beauty of the four states on the route. I could not think of a more ideal setting to build confidence in your riding, yourself, and undoubtedly develop lasting friendships with other women that are passionate about bikes.

I will be doing a coast to coast ride and half of the country will be alone. I will be riding my 2009 Triumph Bonneville from Los Angeles to Chicago alone. Hope to meet up with some people in Chicago, but not a guarantee that they will continue riding with me to Boston.

I would love a mention in your magazine about my trip.

Thank you in advance for your sponsorship. I will be tweeting and sharing the trip with all friends on Facebook.
