Kacy Matinez, the 2009 WORCS Women’s Pro Champion, was awarded the AMA Racing Female Rider of the Year award at the December 4th AMA Racing Championship Banquet, presented by KTM North America and held in Las Vegas. She also recently signed on with the RPM / KTM Racing Team for the 2010 WORCS racing season. (See press release below)

Martinez excelled in western woods racing, winning three national championships. This season, she earned No. 1 plates in the AMA West Hare Scrambles Championship, the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) and at WORCS Week, a week-long, grand-championship-style event that combined woods racing, extreme enduro and grand-prix competition.
"This award means a lot to me," Martinez said. "I worked hard this year, and I'm just thankful for getting this award. I want to thank my mom and dad for getting me here, and my sister for coming to watch me tonight."

RPM / KTM Racing Team signs 2009 WORCS Women’s Pro Champion Kacy Martinez for the 2010 WORCS racing season.
19 year old Kacy Martinez from Sunol California will ride a 2010 KTM 250 XC F and contest for the 2010 WORCS Women’s Pro Championship.
“We are so happy Kacy decided to sign with us” says RPM/KTM Racing Team owner Mike Hurlbert. “We are sending our 4 time Women’s Champion Maria Forsberg to the GNCC series next year and we really wanted a teammate that would work well with Maria during the week and be able to win another WORCS Championship for
