Many of my friends are riders and always want me to go places with them. I have considered learning to ride but seriously have no idea on where to start. If anyone has any suggestions on what I should do first, I would appreciate the advice! What kind of bike should I learn on? What kind of gear do I really need?

Learning to ride

I had never riden a bike on my own when I decieded to do it. I went to the local Harely dealer and asked them where or who was the best place to learn or who could teach me. They said the easiest way is to contact your state Motorcycle Safety Foundation and take the course they offer. So I did and they taught me everything I needed to know to get me going. Good Luck.
