Utility Draggin’ Jeans: More Relaxed Protection

DragginJeansDraggin’ Jeans have been around a while and have garnered a well-deserved reputation for solid road rash protection.  The Kevlar reinforced jeans are a staple in the casual protective wear department.

The classic Draggin’ Jeans fit in a relatively traditional, semi-close cut.  While that fit is probably best in terms of crash protection because it will keep the inner Kevlar panels in place, the style is not everyone’s cup of tea.

The Utility Draggin’ Jeans offer similar Draggin’ Jean protection with a looser fit.  Additionally, the style affords several added pockets for ear plugs, cell phones, gloves, and whatever else you can think of. The Utility Draggin’ Jeans have a carpenter-style, seven pocket design with the change pocket on the left side for ease of use on your bike.

Draggin Jeans feature heavy 14.5 ounce denim with a 13.5 ounce 100% Kevlar lining. The protective Kevlar lining extends from just below the belt loops to just below the seat and from hip seam to hip seam.  To help ensure protection from the looser style of the Utility Jeans, the Kevlar panel has been extended to wrap all the way around the knees and shins.

As far a sizing goes, Draggin’ Jeans are cut exactly true to size, so measure your best fitting pair of jeans and order that size.  All Draggin’ Jeans are handmade in the USA.   For more information on the full Draggin’ Jeans line, visit http://www.dragginjeans.com/.
