I never really thought about wearing my moto-boots off my motorcycle until I got a pair of Harley-Davidson “Hustin” boots. They are a classic conductor style boot, designed for riding, but quite stylish for other occasions – great with leggings, skinny jeans or even a dress or skirt.
As both an equestrian and a motorcyclist I have seen everyday fashion steal many components from these sports, so now when I am purchasing my riding apparel, I think about the products use both on and off the bike. If you’re like me and prefer to spend more time riding than shopping – it’s like killing two birds with one stone!
If you’re on the market for a new pair of riding boots, here are a few styles from Harley-Davidson that will keep your feet safe on a ride and stylin’ in your everyday life. I will start with the pair in my closet, the Hustin. These boots are full grain leather, about mid-calf in height 2” heel and an overall solid build. They are a bit stiff at first, but break in to your specific foot and feel amazing after a few wears.

The next style I love is the Alexa boot. It’s a bit taller than the Hustin, but with a shorter heels. There is a zipper and also lacing up the back with two cute buckles. Clearly these boots paired with skinny jeans and a leather jacket will have you rocking out both on and off your bike.
Finally I also like the Boulder boot. In line with the current ankle-boot trend, with a “cowgirl-ish” flair, these become amazing boots for anyone who can pull them off. The boots have a 2.75” heel, if you want a little extra boost – sometimes helpful when riding and a short ankle cut. While I haven’t seen these in real life, I would LOVE to get my hands on a pair!
Clearly not all motorcycle gear will also work as street-wear (I can’t quite figure out what to wear my elbow pads with…) but you might as well take advantage of the products that will.
