This should be a "model" venture for trails nation wide. Many forest trails can be "managed" similar to the Hatfield McCoy Trails to be very sustainable for motorized recreational use. With the impact of the economy in the surrounding communities of the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System it is a proven fact that the communities prosper and the trail users manage trails better than any government entity can.

By removing the USDA/USFS from "Managing" the abundance of trails that are in our forest and unifying a Public Entity to "Manage" these trails it would be a much more prosperous endeavor than any Planning Rule or government agency could ever succeed with.

The Stakeholders need to observe how the Hatfield-McCoy Trails are cared for and managed to be able to get a much better understanding as to why our forest trails need our attention as Managers of the trails and produce a much more sustainable system.

Our Land....Our Forest....Our Trails.
