TamarackIn The Best of West Virginia, you’ll find a rare combination of artistry and heritage—all conveniently located under one very unusual roof. Tamarack showcases the very best of West Virginia and celebrates its 15th anniversary in 2011!

At Tamarack, many of our juried artisans craft their unique artwork as you watch; the beautiful, heirloom quality handcrafts make perfect gifts that are sure to trump mass-produced items made elsewhere. TamarackHandmade glass, quilts (the inspiration for our unusual geometric roof) and sculpture form a kaleidoscope of color.

Tamarack may be spectacular, but it isn’t just for spectators. Riders and visitors may check our schedule for opportunities to participate in our exclusive “Make and Take” activities. West Virginia artists host handcraft classes for one hour or an entire weekend. Visitors delight in the experience of our ‘hands on’ creative experience. Participants come away with a new appreciation for handcrafted work, and many develop lifelong hobbies based upon what they’ve learned here.

When you visit Tamarack, bring your appetite! You’ll love the gourmet cuisine prepared by our Chefs who receive training from the world-famous Greenbrier resort. Much of the menu is artfully adapted Appalachian cuisine. The irresistible fare is served quickly and may be enjoyed in our casual dining area, carried out, or catered for you. But your dining adventure doesn’t have to end there. Culinary events may be scheduled at Tamarack to allow visitors to learn new cooking techniques and observe professional chefs at work.

TamarackWhen it comes to quality entertainment, there is always something going on at Tamarack: artisan demonstrations, live performances, retail therapy, fine art gallery exhibits, and culinary events. With so much to see and do at Tamarack, many visitors are surprised to learn that there is no admission charge. Tamarack offers a vast and colorful collection of one-of-a-kind items made in the USA, and is the perfect place to ride, stop, shop, and browse during your next vacation.
