14th Annual Johnstown Thunder in the Valley®

You bringin' your 'Thunder' this year?

One of the best motorcycle rallies of the summer happens once a year- so get in gear and get ready for Johnstown's 14th annual Thunder in the Valley® motorcycle rally this June 23rd through the 26th.

Plan your trip ahead of time this year to make sure you can hit every event (and possibly even make a few pit-stops along the way) in just a few days. The Johnstown Convention & Visitors Bureau encourages riders to check out some attractions such as the Johnstown Flood Museum, The Johnstown Inclined Plane, and the Heritage Discovery Center.

Thunder in the Valley® has the best vendors spread across four downtown areas; selling a variety of products from leathers to cleaning solutions. Best part is-most of downtown parking is dedicated to YOU, the rider, during this event. You'll probably see some popular manufacturers as well, including Yamaha, Can-Am, and Kymco.

Music entertainment at Thunder in the Valley® is always a good time. Central Park and the Train Station will have live entertainment with bands playing to the likes of rock, oldies, blues, country and jazz. Check out this years entertainment here. Some other events you cannot miss are The World Burnout Tour featuring Nick Lee, ABATE Thunderbash Welcome Party, the 7th Annual 'Wheels & Wings', The Rat's Hole Custom Bike Show, and Biker Billy.

What about the Thunder? 2011 Rides and Runs begin June 23rd on the Dinner Ride, a nice hearty meal at the end of a full-days entertainment. An Ice Cream Run, Cernic's Thunder Run, Flight 93 and Quecreek Mine Ride, and a Charity Bike Run are to follow.
