Since we all vary in height and inseam, finding the protective windshield that’s perfect for you can become an expensive and timely challenge, until now!
With OEMS and aftermarket companies offering taller touring windshield alternatives to many of today’s faired motorcycles and scooters; it can be a gamble finding what works for you. Look no further than the new GIVI patented Airflow windshield system, offering a fully adjustable upper Polycarbonate screen blade that’s easily mounted and removed from a lower shield latching guide mechanism.
The new Airflow system is designed to alleviate the common issues of buffeting and helmet turbulence as well as reducing wind noise and increasing rider wind protection. The Airflow offers a total height adjustment of seven inches; however the upper screens profile contours to give enhanced wind protection. The “Venturi Effect,” a key feature to the dual windshield adjustment system, creates wind constriction between the upper and lower screens. This system creates an accelerated force of air through the windshields that pushes the rushing wind further above the rider, producing a turbulence free zone.
The GIVI Airflow system, starting at $239, currently offers this system for seven motorcycle and scooter models only, however new application development is currently underway.
