Back in September, we announced the partnership of Victory Motorcycles, Power Sports Wraps, and Rupert’s Kids. Rupert's Kids is an organization that focuses on serving at-risk youth who are too old for the youth social system, but are not old enough for the adult social system. They take pride in their work, and their mission statement says, "Rupert's Kids mission is to empower youth to discover their inner strengths, realize their own self worth, and recognize their value to society".

Rupert Boneham, the founder of this organization, has always been a dedicated servant to volunteerism; working with troubled teens, mentally handicapped children, and low-income families. Later in life after years of hard work, Rupert starred in CBS's hit series, Survivor. He then used those earnings to begin (as promised) Rupert's Kids. The organization recognizes their several sponsors as an integral part of their work, as they have said, "...without whom Rupert's Kids would not be possible".

The plan was to “wrap” Victory’s Vision 8-Ball bike in the friendly tye-dyed theme of the organization. These companies have been working hard in order to create the ideal wrap for the bike. After these past few months, they finally decided to wrap the bike in a flared version of Power Sports Wraps’ Tye Dye Fever theme. Some graphics encompass Rupert’s Kids vision, like “Life is Good. Be You. Give Back”.

In early November, Rupert himself drove the finished product from Indiana to Ohio. The bike went from Ohio to Pennsylvania to California to Indiana and back-and it finally arrived. The long awaited meeting of celebration between the companies commenced, followed by a photo shoot and autograph signing.

The finished product was unveiled in mid-December at the Long Beach International Motorcycle Show in California. Everyone patiently anticipated the excitement and awareness it would bring to the crowds that visited the show. So, would you want to ride away on Rupert's first custom bike? Contact Rupert's Kids at (317) 251-4732 to find out how you can! Rupert plans to make some pit stops in 2011, so be sure to check out the event dates. There are currently a total of 28 parks through out the City of Indianapolis that are being mowed and maintained by Rupert's Kids participants.
