A Flashback in Time: Police Ride in 1942
A letter written by Officer Mueller, dated June 16th, 1942 appeared in National Cycle's (formally Nation Cycle Center) 1940's catalogue. A previous article written on AAB, Motorcycles the Police ride in the USA, gives thanks to those in uniform as well as a showcase of their bikes; from BMW's to Victory's. In the letter, Officer Mueller sings praise for the Firefly Spotlight Bar and appears to be riding an early FL Knucklehead.
The Caption Reads:
OFFICER MUELLER
Well known North Shore motorcycle police officer of the Skokie, Illinois Police Department.
A tough, hard rider who has high praise for NATION-BILT'S LITTLE FIREFLY SPOTLIGHT.
Once again, thanks to those men and women in uniform and on bikes!! Don't forget to post some of your photos in our AAB Community Area
