Maywood, IL – August 18, 2009- National Cycle president, Barry Willey’s, top priority from the beginning of this new windscreen was to produce a solid mounting system with aerodynamic design. The clamp and arm combination is strong but lightweight. At the forks, the flush hinge clamp is rubber shimmed for correct firmness, so there is no steel-to-fork contact. Getting around the tight clearance areas are accomplished without any compromise in structural integrity. Willey says, “Try punching the V-Stream® to feel and hear how securely the shield fits to the machine.” The arms are engineered to be low in profile and stiff for maximum holding strength. This translates to a ride without any distracting wobble. For finishing, a black wrinkle powder coat was selected which nicely matches the texture and color of the OEM lower triple clamp.

VStream® takes its name from the windscreen’s functional “V” shape design. The patented “V” profile redirects the turbulent wind out and away from the side of the rider’s head, producing a quieter and more comfortable riding experience.

The windscreen is hard-coated polycarbonate construction, which is a durable material that resists breakage and scratching.
