Some people just aren't satisfied with stock power. Some people just need to go faster. Those people work for A&A Performance and are working on products that could give your motorcycle 50% more power.
That is, if you own a VFR800 or a ZX-10R. A&A has a limited selection of supercharger kits right now, but they are continually working to expand their product line.
"We are a new company with a primary focus on the design & manufacturing of supercharger kits for modern sportbikes," said Dan Antonelli of A&A Performance. "We currently have kits for the '98-'09 VFR800, '04-'05 ZX-10R, and shortly will have kits available for the '05-'09 GSX-R1000, Hayabusa, and ZX-14. We plan on adding new applications wherever interest lies, and are looking to spread the word to as many riders as possible."
A&A Performance uses Rotex Superchargers to add 40-60% more power to your motorcycle. The kits can be installed by anyone who knows how to swing a wrench, and are designed to hide behind existing bodywork. The kits are designed to be used on your everyday ride. At low throttle, the supercharger won't be wasting your fuel or causing your engine strain. But open that throttle up and you'll feel the supercharger kick in as you launch yourself down the road.
"A&A Performance was born out of what some like to call an unhealthy pursuit of horsepower," said A&A in a statement. "Never content to leave well enough alone (i.e. stock), our relentless tinkering and hot-rodding led to the creation of the first supercharger kit for the Honda VFR800."
