RS-4 and RS-5 Full System or Slip-On Exhaust from Yoshimura
RS-4: CRF250, CRF450, ZX-6R, RM-Z450, YZ450F, DR-Z400SM
Yoshimura’s RS-4 exhaust, designed for Honda’s CRF250 and CRF450, is a technical wonder; it features the Yoshimura duplex chamber that cancels out negative exhaust pulses acting as a mechanical baffle before the perforated baffle area. The result is improved power and lower sound emissions.
The RS-4 has a stainless/aluminum muffler body with a carbon fiber tip and a 96dB spark-arrest insert. Other inserts available for this exhaust pipe are a motocross 99dB non-spark arrested version, and a 94dB motocross non-spark arrested version. The stainless tailpipe bolts right onto the stock header for easy installation and is available in both a Full System and a slip-on configuration.
RS-5: CBR600rr, CBR1000rr, ZX-6R, Daytona 675, LT-R450, Outlaw 525
Increase the power of your CBR600rr with the newly designed RS-5 tucked under tail. The Yoshimura RS-5 is a light-weight option to increase horsepower and the fun-factor of your motorcycle. The RS-5 is available in Carbon Fiber, Stainless Steel, or Titanium and in slip-on or full exhaust. A round outlet configuration adds power and a stylish look. A 5hp gain can be expected with the Stainless Full System over OEM.
The RS-5 is currently available in Slip-on and Full System configurations and includes low volume inserts and a carbon fiber end-cap. Muffler options available are stainless steel, carbon fiber or titanium sleeve material. The RS-5 is also available for the CBR1000rr, ZX-6R, Daytona 675, and Outlaw 525.
