Michelin / Harley-Davidson Scorcher 31 Tires Hot

The first Michelin / Harley-Davidson co-brand tire

Press Release

Michelin H-D
The first Michelin/Harley-Davidson co-brand tire, the Michelin Scorcher 31, is available as OE on four 2010 Dyna models, delivering performance in three key areas: grip, durability and handling.

The tires will be fitted as original equipment on 2010 Dyna Super Glide, Super Glide Custom, Street Bob and Low Rider models, and is also available as a replacement tire from Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories for a variety of 2006-2009 Dyna models.

Offered as a 17-inch rear (P/N 43250-07A, $189.95) and as a 19-inch front (P/N 43258-07A, $119.95), the Scorcher 31, made of a synthetic polymer rubber compound that increases durability, has a deep-cut tread design that improves grip and water evacuation capability. Aramid belts under the rear tread help to stabilize the contact patch, while the carcass plies are made from polyester to allow flex and help give a more comfortable ride.

And the Scorcher 31 carries both companies’ trademarks on its sidewalls, and the signature Harley-Davidson logo is molded into the shoulder of the tire.

For additional information on Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories, see your local Harley-Davidson dealer or visit the Harley-Davidson Web site.
