ScalesAll good gearheads know: The path to enlightenment starts at the tool box.  The kids at the Birmingham Institute of Art and Design have come one step closer to god with their exhibition of home goods made from re-tooled (and re-cooled) Triumph Motorcycle parts. A clutch transforms into arced butter knife, old mirrors become knobs on a hat rack, and an instrumentation panel is born anew as a set of scales. No plans so far for anyto go into production, but the visual inspiration will likely have the mechanically devout doing a little home redecorating.
