Using Contour’s “storyteller” application, the user can assemble and upload a motorcycle run to contour.com and watch it via an imbedded interactive map and video player. This program allows the user to rewind, fast forward or click to the best parts of a run.
While the innovative GPS feature is the sexy part of the new technology, the Contour camera has some other impressive features. Its HD capability is offered in full 1080p video and utilizes a 135° wide-angle rotating lens.
The audio is equally impressive, utilizing a built-in omni-directional microphone. Because much of the thrill of motorcycling is the sound, the bottom-facing microphone is designed to record clear audio of the road or trail.
To store all of your two-wheeled adventures, the unit can record over 8 hours of HD content on one 32 GB Micro SD card.
