Shock Doctor Drying Products: A Great Idea

ShockDR2Being called an “air-head” is not such a good thing. But getting air to your sweaty helmet is a very good thing. The helmet drying products from Shock Doctor are designed to eliminate odor and damage causing moisture from your helmet (as well as your other gear). Basically, the products facilitate the introduction of heated, ozonated air into sweaty gear.

Let’s start with the “engine” of the system, the Shock Doctor Power Dry Blower. The blower unit is a portable dryer which has independent heat and ozone controls for fine tuning the operation. It also incorporates a three-hour automatic shut-off. The unit comes in two versions: the standard “black” model and the higher powered “orange” model.

The next part of the helmet-drying system is the Power Dry Helmet Shroud. The ballistic nylon shroud covers the helmet and contains the heated, ozonated air produced by the Dry Blower. The union between the dryer and shroud is completed by the company’s Dual Port Attachment.

In the end, what you get with the Shock Doctor drying products is a convenient way to keep your gear, especially your helmets, dry and sweet smelling. Here is the kicker; Competition Accessories has all of the Shock Doctor components at unbelievable sale prices. Take a look at http://www.compacc.com/Shock-Doctor.
