Powerlet's Plug and Play Perfect for Post-Holiday Riding Hot

powerletLet's face it, there is no escaping all of this technology. Smart phones put your computer in your pocket, and Powerlet's Plug and Play program puts your smart phone on your bike. So if you're getting an iPhone or an iPod for Christmas, you can make your bike an iMotorcycle with Powerlet cables.\

"Our Apple compatible power cables come in a variety of configurations to suit virtually any need," points out Powerlet Sales & Marketing VP Dan Proffer. "These cables are completely compatible with OEM sockets found on Harley-Davidson, Victory and a variety of American V-Twin motorcycles. And if your ride does not have an OEM-installed outlet, Powerlet can hook you up with that too."

Powerlet cables are specifically designed to protect your phone or mp3 player from unexpected surges of power. The in-line regulator can give you enough power to operate an iPad or to charge a basic cell phone. The socket is CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum, and will fit just about any handlebar. So no matter what you ride, if you need to bring your electronics with you on the open road, Powerlet has you covered.

"Powerlet's cables and cigarette lighter-style power outlets were designed specifically for the rigors of the open road," said Proffer. "Their glove-friendly design insures ease of use, while the small size facilitates storage. This is the benchmark by which all handlebar-mounted cigarette lighter-style sockets shall be measured."

Of course, Powerlet cables can power more than just your phone. Hook up GPS systems, or, given the bleak outlook of winter, plug-in some heated gear and get out and ride.
