The Giant Loop Great Basin Saddlebag: Big Name / Big Bag Hot

GreatLoop

Adventure tourers and dual-sport riders are always looking for rugged, secure, and cavernous ways to take their stuff with them.  After all, an adventure can become nightmare if you don't have the right gear with you.

To this end, you see big BMW and KTM adventure bikes with military-looking aluminum side bags.  You also have KLR dual-sports with tank bags that have more pockets than a troop of kangaroos (yes, that's what it called).

Well, here is another luggage option for the pack-rats of the motorcycling world - the Giant Loop Great Basin Saddlebag.  The first thing that you notice about the Great Basin is its massive horseshoe shape.  The system fits over the passenger seat of the motorcycle, and secures snugly without needing a special rack or framework.

The bag uses extremely high-quality materials both in the shell and the hardware.  The capacity is substantial at over 50 liters.  There are two integrated 1.5 liter bottle pockets, which is always important to adventure and dual-sport riders.  Of course there is an array of internal pockets and divider options.

The Great basin is designed specifically for bikes like the big BMW and KTM adventure bikes.  It is also ideal for the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR and most other big dual-sports.  The Great Basin retails for $399.  Just be ready for the pack mule jokes.
