Geza Covers: Form-Fitting Protection For Your Bike Hot

Geza

Finding the right cover for your motorcycle can be a daunting task.  First and foremost, you have to decide on the demands you are going to place on your cover.  Are you only going to use the cover on trips?  Are you going to use the cover to store your bike outside?  Are you going to tow your bike with the cover on?

Geza offers an impressive range of covers for all motorcycle applications.  The company’s line runs from light indoor covers to fully-protective, full-time outside covers and everything in between.  In fact, the spectrum encompasses nine models featuring different constructions and a variety of materials.

The cover that I sampled was the Sport Classic Plus.  This cover is in the lower middle of the Geza line.  The cover fits great on the modern sport-bike shape.  The Sport Classic Plus model is made of Elonitec / Antron fabric (what ever that is), and stretches to snug fit.  The cover comes in a storage bag that is approximately 4” in diameter and about 12’ long.

Geza has an informative website that has a chart that is a big help in finding the cover that is best for your application.  The chart covers everything from the level of UV and water protection, to the speed at which the cover can be towed, to how many hours of sun per day the cover will withstand.

The covers range from $75 to $300 depending on the model.

Geza Gear Cover Purchase

Just purchased my second Geza Cover today for my Harley V-Rod. Spoke with Zack who was very helpful.I ordered the Elite plus cover as it was the same one I had for my Streetglide. My first cover fit perfectly, and did a great job protecting from the weater and sun. Have also towed with it to Sturgis and did a great job keep my bike clean. Also, easy to put on. Read the last guys post and this has not been my experience for the both times I ordered plus numerous e-mails and phone calls i have made. I am confident I will be as satisfied with my new purchase.

Geza Cover

Purchased an Elite Series Geza cover for my Harely Softail Deluxe. I ordered this directly from Geza and found that their Customer Support was non-responsive. When I placed the order I was told it would ship within 2 weeks. When it did not arrive in 2 1/2 weeks I sent them an email inquiring about timing. I did not received a response after 3 days so I forward a 2nd email inquiry. After another week going by - again no response, so I called them and got a 'all our representatives are busy, please leave a message' response. I left an inquiry message with my contact information. I never received the the courtesy of an email or telephone reply to my 3 inquiries. About a week later I noticed a charge to my credit card (suggesting thes were getting ready to ship). The cover finally showed up about a 3 days later. Original delivery time was stated as 2 weeks + shipping - - - actual delivery time 5+ weeks.

I installed the cover on the bike when it arrived and the fit was pretty good on the front of the bike but poor fitting on the rear in the saddle bag area(ie. loosing fitting even when stretched with the perimeter loops). I once again attempted to email Geza inquiring about the fit. After 4 days again No Reply.

Conclusion: Their advertising makes the cover look like a 'one of a kind' product - which the fabric seems to be the the finished product is not. This combined with their Customer Unfriendly Support makes me wonder if I purchased the right product. I will do some creative stitchery on the rear of the cover to tighten up the fit and hope for the best.
