Review: Shogun Motorsports Carbon S5 Fiber Frame Sliders Hot

Slider

If you go horizontal on a modern sport-bike, you can inflict hundreds of dollars of damage to that sexy bodywork.  Frame sliders have become a bit of a style accessory themselves; however, their main purpose is still sacrificial.  They are designed to take the brunt of the damage in case of a fall.

The Shogun Motorsports Carbon S5 Fiber Frame Sliders have some very cool features that I have not seen on other sliders.  First they have the weight reduction and great looks of carbon fiber as the body of the sliders.  To cap it off (literally) the Shoguns have replaceable end caps that are attached with high-grade steel bolts.  Those caps are available in 6 colors for that custom look.

The sliders are CAD designed for each specific application.  Speaking of applications – the sliders are available for most modern Japanese sport-bikes.  It should be noted that some applications require bodywork modification, so check for the specifics of your model.

Shogun Motorsports Carbon S5 Fiber Frame Sliders are an attractive and functional form of protection for your bike. The sliders range from $89.95-239.95 depending on the application.
