Harley-Davidson Pink Label Supporting Breast Cancer
You don't have to ride a Harley to covet H-D's beautiful women's riding apparel, and knowing the jacket on your back is doing more than keeping you warm feels good.
So it's welcome news to learn that The Motor Company has just introduced a new clothing line designed to aid those touched by breast cancer. The Harley-Davidson Pink Label collection was inspired by women who have been affected by breast cancer, and a portion of the proceeds will go to the YourShoes 24/7 Support Center. The YourShoes center is staffed by breast cancer survivors and provides round-the-clock emotional support to people touched by breast cancer. Almost 50,000 people were helped in 2008 alone.
"Having a strong support system is critical to surviving breast cancer", says Margaret C. Kirk, President and CEO, Breast Cancer Network of Strength. "That's why we're thrilled to have the support of Harley-Davidson, as well as their family of employees, dealers and owners. With their help, we can make sure no one faces this disease alone."
Designed by the Harley-Davidson Women's MotorClothes Product Development and Design team, the Pink Label Collection includes 12 items: a gorgeous lightweight leather jacket, as well as pants, eyewear, gloves, shirts, helmet and headwrap.
